Northwestern seeks new president
Northwestern Health Sciences University has begun accepting applications for a new president. President Alfred Traina, DC, announced his resignation last November. It becomes effective Sept. 1, 2006…
The university is seeking a leader who will continue to work with the campus community to build a health sciences university that is creating a new paradigm in natural healthcare. The new president must be able to effectively articulate the University’s unique attributes to both external and internal audiences; continue to guide the development and integration of academic programs to move the institution to a distinctive, national status; demonstrate a knowledge and respect for multi-faceted, natural healthcare; encourage and maintain a strong management team and a collaborative campus environment; lead strategic and focused fundraising efforts; and identify and secure resources to support the growth and expansion of the University’s integrative health care clinics.
The successful candidate will possess a terminal degree and have extensive experience in a higher education setting.
The search committee will begin to review candidates immediately. Nominations and expressions of interest, which will be treated in confidence, should be sent to Chris Fryer of Korn/Ferry International at chris.fryer@kornferry.com.
