NYCC to offer advanced nutrition degree

New York Chiropractic College will offer a masters degree in Applied Clinical Nutrition beginning September 2006.

This two-year, 36-credit program will be available in Seneca Falls, Depew, and Levittown, N.Y., through video teleconferencing. The faculty will rotate through these three locations so that students can have the benefit of a “live” professor. Classes will be held once a month on Saturday and Sunday for 24 months.

Candidates are required to have successfully completed 90 semester hours (or 136 quarter hours) of undergraduate study. At least nine credit hours should be in the biosciences. Overall grade point average must be 2.5 or higher.

Seats are limited and applications are currently being accepted. For more information, call 800-234-6922 ext. 3889 or visit the “academic programs” section of the Web site at www.nycc.edu.
