Bergmann speaks at Middle Eastern conference
Tom Bergmann, DC, a professor at Northwestern Health Sciences University was the only speaker at the first Middle Eastern Chiropractic Association Conference held in Cyprus from May 12-13.
The conference was organized by the Cyprus Chiropractic Association in conjunction with the World Federation of Chiropractors. About 20 chiropractors from Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Cyprus, and the United Arab Emirates Republic gathered in Cyprus for the conference. The goal of the event was to unite chiropractors in the Middle East.
“Chiropractors all over the world are not a unified group,” said Bergmann. “The hope of this conference was to unite chiropractors and establish standards for chiropractors in countries in the Middle East.”
Bergmann was asked to speak at the conference because he is the author of the popular textbook Chiropractic Technique. The textbook is used in more than half of the chiropractic schools in the world and has been translated into several languages.
