Record number of news stories posted
If you didn’t make a habit of visiting ChiroEco.com for news on the chiropractic profession and industry, you may have missed out on a lot of need-to-know information during 2005. ChiroEco.com posted a record number of news stories — 451 — throughout the year.
News is updated at least twice a week, said Linda Segall, editor of Chiropractic Economics magazine. She emphasized that breaking news is posted immediately — and sent out in a special-edition electronic newsletter, Newsflash. Normally, the Newsflash is e-mailed to subscribers about every three weeks.
Segall said that the top news story for 2005 was a short article that reported on the retailer JC Penney featuring chiropractic in a nationwide television commercial. The TV ad first aired during the Emmy Awards.
She said that the top stories by month, as indicated by Web statistics, were:
