Med students visit Northwestern

University of Minnesota first-year medical students will explore traditional Chinese medicine at the Minnesota College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MCAOM) at Northwestern Health Sciences University Jan. 12.

For the fourth year, more than 160 students enrolled in the University of Minnesota Medical School’s Physicians and Society program will be bussed to Northwestern for a lecture and demonstrations of acupuncture, herbal medicine, and pulse and tongue diagnosis, as well as massage techniques such as moxibustion, tui na, and cupping.
