Parker reaches enrollment capacity

For the second consecutive trimester, Parker College of Chiropractic has placed students on a waiting list for admission, while the cumulative grade point average (GPA) for entering Parker students rose to an all-time institutional high.

Parker College instituted an enrollment cap of 950 students in the Doctor of Chiropractic program after performing a cost-benefit analysis, including facility usage, class size, faculty-to-student ratio, and clinic student distribution, as well as other factors. The enrollment cap enabled Parker to raise its admission index, as evidenced with the increased cumulative GPA for this trimester’s entering students. John Plotts, DC, dean of Enrollment Services at Parker College said, “We now can select the more academically prepared students, which traditionally translates into a higher likelihood of success.”
