Print ads speak out against steroid drug use

A series of print public-service announcements against steroid drug use by high school athletes are scheduled to appear throughout 2007 in New Jersey.

The ads, sponsored by the National Coalition for the Advancement of Drug-Free Athletics (NCADFA), will feature NCADFA spokesperson, Baltimore Ravens’ All-Pro Linebacker and Super Bowl XXXV MVP, Ray Lewis. A publishing agreement with NJ Sports,(a New Jersey high school sports-information publication) allows the new NCADFA ad to reach teenage athletes, their parents, their coaches and high schools throughout the state.

Future PSA ads will also carry NCADFA’s slogan, “Choose NOT to Use,” with Ray Lewis asking readers, “What do YOU Choose?”
