Northwestern awards degrees and certificates to 112

Northwestern Health Sciences University graduated 112 new natural healthcare practitioners at three commencement ceremonies in November and December.

The number includes 84 who received their doctor of chiropractic degrees on November 17; 15 who earned massage-therapy certificates; 11 students who earned master’s degrees in Oriental medicine; and two students with master’s degrees in acupuncture.

The commencement address at the chiropractic commencement was presented by Mark Zeigler, DC, president of Northwestern. The class valedictorian was Brett Russell McDonough, who graduated summa cum laude. Fifteen other students also graduated with honors.
