170 University of Minnesota
medical
students visit Northwestern
For the fifth year, University
of Minnesota medical students visited Northwestern Health
Sciences University to learn more about manual therapies.
On Nov. 28, 170 students attended several sessions and watched
demonstrations of massage therapy and chiropractic spinal
manipulation.
“We feel it’s
important to reach out to the medical community about natural
healthcare,” said Dale Healey, DC, dean of the School
of Massage Therapy. “When they are medical students
is the best time to expose future medical doctors.”
Last year 140 students took
part.
