Chiropractic degree ‘guarantees’ job — in Wales

A Welsh university announced that students on some of its courses are “virtually” guaranteed jobs when they graduate.

Chiropractic graduates were rated among those having a higher degree of success than most students when it comes to gaining their chosen jobs.

“It’s quite a small profession, but growing,” said Mark Webster, senior lecturer in the subject at the University of Glamorgan. “There’s a need for chiropractors because it’s become more of a recognized evidence-based treatment.”

The University of Glamorgan’s chiropractic BSc boasted successes, offering just one of two UK college-based courses in this expanding healthcare area.

Welsh universities ranked those vocational courses alongside more traditional favorites such as medicine and architecture in virtually guaranteeing graduates a career at the end of their course.
