Goodheart Scholarship awarded at NUHS

The International College of Applied Kinesiology — U.S.A. (ICAK-U.S.A.) awarded Amy Berglund the $2,500 George J. Goodheart Scholarship in AK at the National University of Heath Sciences (NUHS) Homecoming Alumni luncheon on June 24, 2006.

Goodheart, a NUHS Alumni and featured homecoming speaker, presented Berglund with the certificate and scholarship funds. The scholarship was funded by the ICAK-U.S.A. membership in Goodheat’s honor.

Berglund is currently the president of the AK Club at NUHS and after graduation plans to associate for two years with an AK doctor in the Chicago area and become certified in AK. She eventually plans to return to her home state of Montana and start a private practice with her fiancée, with an interest in working with the geriatric population.
