DC given humanitarian award

Dr. Richard Kieffer of St. Paul, Minn., is the recipient of the 2005 Humanitarian Award presented by Biofreeze/Performance Health Inc. The award was given at the school’s homecoming in February.

Kieffer was chosen because of his achievements and service to the profession and local community throughout his many years in practice.

Dr. Dana Mackison, director of education for Performance Health, presented the award to Kieffer along with a $500 check to be donated to two of his favorite charities, Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch and Hope International.
