Chiropractic represented on Health Academy
The public relations manager of Life Chiropractic College West has been appointed to a third three-year term on the board of directors of the Health Academy, a professional section of Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
Lance, who is in his ninth year at Life West, is the sole director of the 21-member Health Academy board who represents chiropractic health care. He is also the only member, of the national board, representing northern California. During the past three years he has chaired the Health Academy's membership committee, which has steadily increased the organization's membership from 650 to more than 900. This year he will be serving as chair of chapter relations.
With a national membership of more than 900 executive public relations practitioners in the health-care field, the Health Academy is the largest professional-interest sections of PRSA. The organization seeks to enhance the quality and stature of healthcare public relations through professional development seminars, publications, and programs.
