Graston trademark upheld again

The U.S. District Court has again ruled in favor of TherapyCare Resources, Inc., concerning the use of its registered trademark Graston Technique®.

Judge Larry J. McKinney found that David Graston and his company Carpal Therapy Inc., was in violation of the September 2004 ruling that prohibited the use of the name Graston in any type of marketing.

David A. Graston was a founding member of TCR, which began in 1994. He left the company in 1997 and now heads Carpal Therapy Inc. Both Indianapolis-based companies offer instrument-assisted therapeutic devices and training services used for rehabilitation; however, TCR’s Graston Technique® is a registered trademark.
