National PR campaign kicks off with donations

JAN. 27 — A number of individuals and companies have kicked off the fundraising of the Campaign for Chiropractic, the national public relations program. The program was officially launched at the Parker Seminar in Las Vegas, with an announcement by Parker College President Dr. Fabrizio Mancini and Kent Greenawalt, president of Foot Levelers and founder of the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress, the nonprofit organization overseeing the campaign.

The campaign received a huge boost in funds from Mark Sanna, CEO of Breakthrough Coaching, which has pledged $500,000 to the effort. Joseph D. Doyle, president of The Doyle Group, publishers of Chiropractic Economics, also pledged $100,000 over two years.

Additionally, during the seminar, individuals and companies donated $35,198 in cash and $35,340 in pledges.

Greenawalt has set a goal of raising $1 million for the first year to fund the campaign.
