WCA announces 2005 awards
JANUARY 10, 2005 — The World Chiropractic Alliance (WCA) has announced recipients of its annual Chiropractic Awards, given to honor individuals who have advanced the cause of chiropractic around the country and the world.
- Chiropractor of the Year - Yannick Pauli, DC, the WCA liaison to the World Health Organization. He also serves on the Research Committee of the Council on Chiropractic Practice (CCP) as well as its Technique Committee.
- Researcher of the Year - Bob Blanks, PhD. Blanks' papers have appeared in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, the Journal of Anatomy and Embryology, and in the book, Progress in Oculomotor Research, Neuroanatomy of the Oculomotor System.
- International Leadership Award - Asher Nadler, DC. As President of the Israel Doctors of Chiropractic, Nadler has worked to educate the Israeli people and healthcare officials about the need for subluxation correction. Chiropractic is not a licensed profession in Israel.
- Outstanding Service to WCA - Brian Stenzler, DC. He has volunteered in a variety of ways to the WCA and other organizations.
