CCE elects new president
FEB. 2, 2005 — The Council on Chiropractic Education has elected Joseph E. Brimhall, DC, as its new present during the January 2005 board of directors meeting in Scotttsdale, Ariz. Brimhall is president of Western States Chiropractic College.
Brimhall is a 1981 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic. He has a long history of service to CCE. He served on the Commission on Accreditation (COA) from 1998 to 2003 (chair, from 2000 to 2003) and ex-officio CCE board executive committee member from 2001 to 2003.
He has also served on the COA, Board of Directors and Council Review Committee for CCE-Canada and as a consultant to the European Council on Chiropractic Education.
Other individuals elected include:
• George A. Goodman, DC, president of Logan College of Chiropractic, as vice president; and
• Sandra N. Mooney, CPA, CFO for Texas Chiropractic College, as secretary/treasurer.
Additionally, four new board members were appointed: Lawrence M. Gerstein, DC, FICC, from Washington, Mo.; Clyde B. Jensen, PhD, from Portland, Ore.; J. Clay McDonald, DC, from New York Chiropractic College; and Anthony Onorato, DC, from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic.
