Palmer to make 19 presentations at ACC-RAC

FEB. 2, 2005 — Faculty and staff from the three Palmer College of Chiropractic campuses will make 19 presentations at the Association of Chiropractic Colleges ­­– Research Agenda Conference (ACC – RAC) March 17-19, 2005, in Las Vegas.

The 10 platform and nine poster presentations were selected for the conference through a peer-review process. “We are proud of this impressive list of scholarly works coming from Palmer for the upcoming ACC-RAC conference,” said Vice President for Research William Meeker, DC, MPH. “I congratulate my colleagues for their hard work, culminating in acceptance by the peer-review process for this prestigious conference.”

The theme of this year’s ACC-RAC is “Emerging Research and Training Opportunities.” The conference is jointly sponsored by the Bureau of Health Professions of the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration, the Association of Chiropractic Colleges, the Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research at Palmer College of Chiropractic and the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. This year will mark the 10th anniversary of the Research Agenda Conference.

The platform presentations from Palmer faculty and staff include:
