ICA, New Jersey urge Katrina relief
The International Chiropractors Association (ICA) and the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors (ANJC) have each put out a call to their members to support relief efforts for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
ANJC will drive a statewide campaign through its upcoming convention at the end of September to raise money for hurricane victims. Information is available by calling 908-722-5677.
ICA is not only encouraging its members to contribute to a charitable organization, but it has also been working to assist and support chiropractors who have had their practices wiped out in the storm.
According to an ICA news release, David Eugster, DC, ICA’s assembly representative in Louisiana, has estimated that 20 percent to 25 percent of chiropractors in Louisiana have had their practices put out of service.
Individuals who wish to re-establish chiropractic in the stricken area can send checks or money orders made out to ICA Katrina Disaster Relief Fund, International Chiropractors Association, 1110 N. Glebe Rd, Suite 650, Arlington, VA 22201.
