Foot Leveler’s Katrina fund tops $540,000

Through a dollar-for-dollar matching campaign, Foot Levelers has raised more than $540,000 for the American Red Cross.

Foot Leveler’s CEO Kent S. Greenawalt credit publicity from chiropractic publications and Web sites with helping raise awareness among chiropractors. More than 2,000 individuals made contributions.

The Foot Leveler’s program asked for donations to the Red Cross and stated that the orthotics company would match donations up to $200,000.

Greenawalt expressed his thanks to donors. “I sincerely thank you for your gift. I am truly proud of what has been accomplished. We have proven what wonderful things can happen when we come together. United we stand as a profession, united we stand as a country, and united we stand as humans helping each other. Thank you.”
