Parker Seminars Las Vegas
to make leadership ‘contagious’
Attendees at the 2006 Parker Seminars in Las Vegas will find that “Leadership is Contagious.” Leadership is the theme of the conference, which is expected to attract more than 6,000 chiropractors and CAs, and more than 250 chiropractic suppliers in its Expo.
“Parker Seminars has been on the forefront of leadership training since its inception by Dr. James Parker over 50 years ago,” said Fabrizio Mancini, DC, president of Parker College of Chiropractic and Parker Seminars. “Today, Parker Seminars continues that legacy of training leaders who engage the hearts and minds of those they serve and empower. That is contagious leadership.”
The annual conference is scheduled for Jan. 11-14, 2006, at the Las Vegas Hilton. It will serve as a forum for a number of leaders and lecturers in the fields of chiropractic, leadership, management, personal motivation, and development.
TOP KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
The seminar kicks off on Wednesday, Jan. 11, with a presentation by Dr. Wayne, Dyer, author of a number of bestselling books, including Your Erroneous Zones. His focus will be lessons on inspired leadership.
The Thursday keynote speaker will be motivational speaker Les Brown, author ofLive Your Dreams and It’s Not Over Until You Win. Brown will challenge participants to take their leadership to levels “never dreamed possible.”
Another international bestselling author, Dr. Chérie Carter-Scott, will be the Saturday keynote speaker. Carter-Scott’s book, If Life Is a Game, These Are the Rules, is used as a textbook in 100 universities and colleges throughout the United States. She will detail universal truths for living — “the 10 rules for being human.”
In addition to sessions on leadership, participants will be able to earn up to 18 hours of continuing education credits. They will also be able to shop at the Expo, which will have more than 250 suppliers. The Expo will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
Throughout the seminar, speakers and classes will focus on information to enable chiropractors and their staffs to maximize their spheres of influence and effectiveness for patients and the community.
Classes will be offered specifically for chiropractic assistants.
“Contagious leaders understand the concept of service, always aiming toward a higher goal than fulfillment of one’s own needs,” said Mancini. “If we as a profession can succeed as contagious leaders, we can fulfill our profession’s calling to lead our colleagues, families, and communities to higher purposes.”
