3 students win OUM scholarships

Three chiropractic students recently received OUM’s semi-annual Wellness Works Scholarships. Silvia Clark from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Fla.; Joshua Mason from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa; and Randy Moyer from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles wrote the winning essays promoting the benefits of health maintenance through regular chiropractic visits.

The OUM Chiropractor Program, a chiropractic malpractice insurance program , developed the Wellness Works Scholarship Program in 2004 to assist in educational funding for chiropractic students in the United States. The program awards scholarships to students who are currently enrolled third- or fourth-year chiropractic students in good standing and write excellent essays promoting chiropractic.

The October 2005 scholarship funds were raised through financial support from Biofreeze, Chiropractic Economics, Chiropractic Products, Dynamic Chiropractic, and Today’s Chiropractic, five companies dedicated to the advancement of the chiropractic profession. The winning essays can be viewed at www.oumchiropractor.com.

More information on the Wellness Works Program and the scholarship, is available at 800-423-1504 or www.oumchiropractor.com.
