SuperConference attracts 2,800 to Vegas

SuperConference Speakers

The Fifth Annual Masters Circle SuperConference, held November 2–4 in Las Vegas, attracted 104 exhibitors, 17 speakers, and 2,800 attendees. The event, entitled “ChiroDestiny — An Eye on Your Future,” focused on the projected path for the chiropractic profession and the needs of healthcare consumers.

The speakers included wellness experts Deepak Chopra and David Simon, and chiropractic notables Guy Riekeman, Larry Markson, Bob Hoffman, Dennis Perman, Patrick Gentempo, C.J. Mertz, Danny Drubin, Tedd Koren, Claudia Anrig, Moe Pisciottano, and others.

Several attendees were recognized with awards for their leadership and achievement. Larry Markson, DC, founding partner of The Masters Circle, was honored for his 25-year contribution to the leadership of chiropractic. Regional “Chiropractor of the Year” awards were given to Kathy Baumgardner of Marlton, N.J.; Matt Harris of Union City, Tenn.; and Ed Hansen of Bellingham, Wash.

The “Eagle Award” was presented to Moe Pisciottano, founder and CEO of Pro-Solutions for Chiropractic. The “Humanitarian Award” was presented to Deepak Chopra.

Next year’s SuperConference is planned for Orlando, October 26–28, 2006.
