Northwestern honors students and instructors
Northwestern Health Sciences University honored more than 100 students, 20 instructors and 14 administrators at its 16th annual Student Leadership Award dinner. Awards were for “Teacher of the Year,” “Student Leadership Hall of Fame,” “Administrator of the Year” and “Student Leadership Hall of Fame Legacy.”
The chiropractic Student Leadership Hall of Fame award was presented to Kenzie Satterand Tony Wangerin. “Wangerin was a model student leader from the beginning,” said Brad Woodle, a chiropractic student and outgoing Student Senate president. “Satter is very dedicated and very invested in Northwestern,” he added.
The massage therapy Student Leadership Hall of Fame award was presented to Shawna Eischens. The acupuncture and Oriental medicine Student Leadership Hall of Fame award was presented to Mary Grady.
The Student Leadership Hall of Fame Legacy Award went to Tammy Walz, a chiropractic student.
Teachers honored included Dan Wallace, PhD; Joel Pins, PhD; Tao Gong, MS; and Beth Burgan, MFA.
Brady Forseth, director of development, received the Administrator of the Year award.
