Cycle event to benefit kids with spina bifida
Cleveland Chiropractic College will sponsor its third Annual Charity Motorcycle Ride and Poker Run July 30. It will again raise money for the Spinal Defects Clinic at Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinic.
This year’s ride will be operated in conjunction with the Second Annual Kodiak Run, a ride named for the organizers’ 2½-year-old son Kodi Stevens, who was born with Spina Bifida and has been receiving care from the Children’s Mercy clinic ever since.
College organizers for the benefit ride are faculty members Drs. Michael Moore, Debra Robertson-Moore, and Tom Nichols, along with students Thad Schneider, chairperson; Russel Merrell, and R.W. Stuart.
More information on the event is available at www.thekodiakrun.com
