Parker College of Chiropractic is offering a one-day course on osteoporosis and bone health on its Dallas campus, July 23.
“Bone Health: Osteoporosis Is Preventable and Treatable” will provide attendees with current information about the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, often called the “silent disease” because bone loss occurs without symptoms.
Subject areas to be covered include:
• Early identification of risk factors,
• Current diagnostic technology,
• Interpretation of test results,
• Nutrition and exercise requirements for building strong bones, and
• Current medical treatments.
Participants may earn up to eight hours of continuing education credit. More information is available at www.postgrad.parkercc.edu or at 800-266-4723.
