ACA names new EVP

The American Chiropractic Association Board of Governors has hired Kevin P. Corcoran, CAE, as its new executive vice president (EVP) effective Sept. 1, 2005. Corcoran will succeed Garrett Cuneo, who will retire as EVP on Sept. 30, 2005.

Most recently, Corcoran served 11 years with the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU); first as the association’s membership director, and later as its executive vice president.

Corcoran received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgetown University, and in 2001 earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives. The CAE credential is recognized as an indication of demonstrated skill in leadership, activity in community affairs, and expertise in association management.
