NJ convenes summit on
steroid abuse and prevention
A Governor’s Summit
on Steroid Abuse and Prevention was convened last month at
Rutgers University, New Brunswick Campus, focusing on a community
outreach campaign to raise awareness of the issue of performance
enhancing drug use in sports.
Acting New Jersey Governor
Richard J. Codey invited Victor Naumov, DC, founder and president
of the National Coalition for the Advancement of Drug Free
Athletics, Inc. (NCADFA), ©to participate in the Summit.
In support of the governor’s
efforts on the issue of teens and steroids, the NCADFA donated
their “Choose Not to Use” steroid awareness silicone
wristband to all in attendance of the Summit.
NCADFA is a New Jersey based,
501(3), nonprofit organization whose purpose is to support
educational, charitable, religious, and scientific organizations
that teach the dangers and prevent the use of performance
enhancing drugs. ’’More information about NCADFA
