Will you host a holiday party?

What are you planning for your employees during the holidays? According to a survey of 1,200 small business owners, 55 percent plan to have a holiday party this year. That’s a significant increase from last year, when only 45 percent of respondents said they had a party for their staff or business.

The survey was conducted by Constant Contact, an e-mail marketing service for small businesses, associations, and nonprofit organizations.

The survey also asked small-business owners if they were going to give holiday bonuses. Since 60 percent of them (many retail) anticipate a strong holiday sales season, 37 percent plan to give bonuses. This is up from 34 percent last year.
