NM board considers adding acupuncture to scope

The New Mexico State Board of Chiropractor Examiners is considering proposal to change rules to allow chiropractors to perform acupuncture.

The proposal would only allow chiropractors who have additional acupuncture training to perform the treatment.

The addition of acupuncture is part of a revision of the chiropractic scope of practice in New Mexico.
