PCCF names directors of clinics and research

Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida announced two appointments. Albert Luce, DC, has been named director of clinics and J. Donald Dishman, DC, has been named director of research on the Florida campus.

Luce joined PCCF’s staff in January 2003 as an assistant professor and was named interim director of Clinical Services in March. Before coming to PCCF, he developed successful private practices in Long Island and Orlando and worked as an assistant clinical director for Life University’s Roswell Street Clinic.

Dishman was hired as a professor last September and was named interim director of research in December. He has published numerous research articles and won an award for best research paper in 2001 from the World Federation of Chiropractic.

While teaching at New York Chiropractic College from 1991 to 2004, he conducted research into the neurophysiological effects of chiropractic adjustments on the human motor system with grants from the National Institutes of Health and the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research.
