College of Military Chiropractic Physicians created
Doctors working in the Veterans Administration and the Department of Defense have organized themselves into a college that is part of the American Chiropractic Association’s Orthopedic Council.
The College of Military Chiropractic Physicians was established to:
• Help provide educational opportunities unique to chiropractic physicians providing care in a multi-disciplinary setting;·
• Give doctors new to government treatment facilities help with paperwork and presentations; and to
• Create networking opportunities within the ranks of DoD- or VA-employed chiropractors.
Membership is limited to doctors who are actively providing care at DoD or VA treatment facilities.
The newly elected officers of the college are Drs. Gregory Lillie, president; Rhonda McKinney, vice president; Jerry VanderHeyden, secretary; and Reggie Clifton, treasurer.
The college has scheduled a 4-hour program on April 16, 2005, in San Antonio, in conjunction with the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists. Speakers include Drs. Stephen Capps and Cynthia Vaughn.
