Sherman names new dean of clinical sciences

Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic has named Robert (Bob) Irwin, DC, its new dean of clinical sciences. He has been assistant professor of clinical sciences and health center faculty member.

As dean of clinical sciences, Irwin will serve on various college committees, assist in ongoing self-study and outcomes assessment and assist the vice president for academic affairs, the dean of basic sciences and dean of chiropractic health services in coordinating the academic program and faculty to continually improve the quality of instruction.

Irwin holds an associate’s degree from Southwestern Michigan (1976) and a DC degree from Life Chiropractic College (1979). He also maintains a private practice in Hendersonville, NC.
