PCC Homecoming attracts 2,300 and big
boost to capital campaign
Amid the festivities and continuing education sessions of its annual Homecoming, Palmer College of Chiropractic announced a major boost to its “Building the Future Fountainhead” capital campaign during Palmer Homecoming 2004, August 12-14.
Maurice Pisciottano, DC, and Laurel Pisciottano, DC, along with the Pro-Adjuster group of doctors, made a five-year pledge of $500,000 to the campaign. In addition, Pro-Solutions for Chiropractic, Inc. and the Pro-Adjuster group are donating five Pro-Adjuster units, worth $25,000 each, to the Palmer Clinics.
The Homecoming event drew nearly 2,300 alumni, friends and prospective students who attended continuing education sessions, social events, plenary sessions and an EXPO that attracted 100 vendors.
“We experienced the same bustling crowds, sold-out EXPO, superb line-up of speakers and fantastic social events that attendees have come to expect every year,” said Interim Director of Fountainhead Programs Stacey Wiley. “From the luncheons to the EXPO, from the classrooms to the reunions, the whole focus was ‘it’s good to be home.’”
Palmer’s Interim President Donald Kern, D.C., made a dozen appearances during Homecoming as a VIP greeter, presenter, leader and friend. “It is a very busy time for many of us as we host more than 2,000 people, but it is truly energizing and worthwhile. I appreciate the teamwork and the great feeling of accomplishment that this event brings to the College every year.”
