Life West picks student of the year

An “overwhelming” list of achievements has qualified a student to be recognized as Life Chiropractic College West’s “Student of the Year 2004.” Tina Carrari accepted the award at the college’s annual SPA (Science, Philosophy and Art) Day, October 21.

Carrari, a senior, was selected for the award because of her academic standing and her numerous contributions to Life West, the college’s community and the chiropractic profession.

Carrari has been on the dean’s list every quarter of her studies. She has also been the president of the Motion Palpation Club and president of the Community Outreach Club since the beginning of this year. She is also a member of the college’s World Congress of Chiropractic Students.

Carrari serves as a student representative to three college committees and she has volunteered her time to help out with campus open houses, SPA Day and Spring for Life conferences, as well as other college-sponsored chiropractic events.
