PCC, TCC, TCA develop cooperative legislative strategies pain
Presidents of two chiropractic colleges located in Texas are working closely with the Texas Chiropractic Association on cooperative strategies to get the best results from the Texas legislature for the chiropractic community.
Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, president of Parker College of Chiropractic, Dr. Richard G. Brassard, president of Texas Chiropractic College and Dr. Franz Klein, president of the Texas Chiropractic Association, recently met with lobbyists to map out continued unified efforts. The mutual goal is to educate decision-makers about the issues important to chiropractic and bring those issues to the attention of Texas legislators.
"For the past few years we have found great strength by working together for the common good of our profession and, most importantly, the patients," said Mancini. "We believe that through the collective power of the chiropractic profession we can do more to advance our profession and its support by state legislators."
The 79th Texas Legislature regular session begins January 11, 2005.
