Plaintiff awarded $650,000 in PI case

A jury awarded a plaintiff $650,000 in a personal injury case for soft tissue injuries sustained in a low-speed multi-vehicle accident, which interrupted the plaintiff’s ability to work. The verdict and award are currently under appeal. Washington attorneys Garth Dano and William Gilbert represented the plaintiff in his personal injury suit. They used, in part, MyoVision’s SEMG technology, which provides objective data not obtainable through x-rays or other traditional methods.

Treating chiropractor William Davis, DC, owner of Davis Chiropractic Clinic in Ephrata, Washington, said, “Juries have difficulty with soft tissue injury determination. Without objective evidence, these injuries just don’t exist. MyoVision allowed us to show the jury muscle dysfunction ‘just like an EKG of the spine….’”
