Palmer College graduates 186 new DCs

Commencement ceremonies on Feb. 27, 2004, in Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Lyceum Hall auditorium, marked the graduation of 186 doctor of chiropractic and seven associate of science in chiropractic technology degree recipients.

Awards were given to valedictorians Frederick Jensen II, Jacksonville, Ill., Kelly Lange, Ashland, Ore, and Daniel Purdue, Plano, Ill. John Edwards, Omaha, Neb., received the Virgil V. Strang Philosophy Award, and Jason Michael Jodoin, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, won the Clinical Excellence Award. The John Connolly Memorial Award for scholarship and involvement in Palmer and community organizations was given to Jim McKivigan.
