American Black Chiropractic Association holds regional conference
Students and doctors from 16 states and from several member chiropractic colleges the weekend of March 19 –20 attended the American Black Chiropractic Association’s annual central region winter conference at National University of Health Science., The conference theme was “Harambee!” which means “Let’s pull together.”
The conference featured workshops on chiropractic technique, botanical medicine, HIPAA guidelines and other pertinent topics.
The ABCA helps recruit, encourage and support black persons to study chiropractic and assists chiropractic colleges in recruiting qualified black students and faculty members. The organization offers several scholarships each year to qualifying students.
ABCA will hold its national conference September 23 –26 in downtown Chicago.
