ICC names new dean
Dr. James F. Winterstein, president
of National University of Health Sciences (NUHS), has been
named dean of the International College of Chiropractors.
He steps in to fill the term of the previous ICC dean, the
late Dr. Leonard Fay, who had also served as the vice president
of NUHS when it was National College of Chiropractic.
For more than 65 years, the
ICC has honored a select few chiropractors as fellows, based
on their achievements of a high degree of service to the chiropractic
profession. The ICC meets annually to bestow this honor.
“I’m honored to
be appointed dean of the International College of Chiropractors
and am proud to be counted among a group of physicians who
have dedicated their very lives to the promotion of high academic
and professional standards and the continued success of chiropractic
medicine,” says Dr. Winterstein.
The International College of
Chiropractors has granted several gifts to chiropractic colleges,
chiropractic research organizations and chiropractic legal
funds over the years.
The group meets yearly during
the annual convention of the American Chiropractic Association.
