FCER to Launch Online Chiropractic Auction
The Foundation for Chiropractic
Education and Research (FCER) will launch a silent auction
in late July as a fund-raising effort to support its mission
of research and education. Among objects available for bidding
will include artwork, chiropractic books, and Douglas Labs
CoQmelt supplements (12 packs of 21 100mg Co-Q10 tablets).
Last year, FCER participated
in an auction through e-Bay. However, the organization realized
that many of the items were not appropriate for sale directly
to the public. The silent auction will now be conducted on
the Foundation's web site, http://www.fcer.org.
Official rules for bidding will be available on the Web site.
Items for auction will change frequently, so periodic visits
to the web site are advised.
Items to be auctioned have
been donated to FCER by private practitioners and chiropractic
organizations. Because FCER is a federally recognized non-profit
organization that maintains a 501-c-3 status, the estimated
value of items donated to FCER is tax deductible. For information
on donating items, please contact Linda Plahn, FCER Director
of Development, by phone at 800-637-6244 or by e-mail at lplahn@fcer.org.
