DCs, vendors with 50+ years’ service honored at Parker

LAS VEGAS, NEV. — Chiropractic Economics kicked off its 50th anniversary birthday celebration at the Parker Seminars in Las Vegas by honoring doctors and vendors who have served chiropractic for at least 50 years.

50-year recognition — Chiropractic Economics, Parker Seminars and Breakthrough Coaching honored doctors of chiropractic who have been in practice 50 years at the Parker Seminar in Las Vegas.

The magazine, along with Parker Seminars and Breakthrough Coaching, honored doctors of chiropractic who attended the conference and have been in practice for at least 50 years. These doctors included:

• Dr. Clair Odell, Southgate Mich.; Palmer College of Chiropractic, 1936.

• Dr. William Harris, Alpharetta, Ga.; Palmer College of Chiropractic, 1939.

• Dr. Richard T. Donovan, Walnut Creek, Calif.; Palmer College of Chiropractic, 1947.

• Dr. Harold T. Hughes, Auburn, Wash.; Palmer College of Chiropractic, 1947.

• Dr. Joyce Kimble, Karnes City, Texas; Texas Chiropractic College, 1948.

Chiropractic Economics publisher Joseph Doyle presented engraved plaques to nine companies on behalf of the magazine and its 50th anniversary and Parker Seminars. Companies celebrating at least 50 years of service to chiropractic include:

• Douglas Labs. 1952, dietary supplements.

• Parker Share Products. 1952, distributor of all types of business-management supplies to doctors.

• Meyer Distributing. 1948, chiropractic equipment and supplies.

• NCMIC. 1946, financial, insurance and business solutions.

• Hill Laboratories Company. 1945, chiropractic treatment tables.

• Standard Process. 1929, nutritional whole-food supplements.

• Williams Healthcare Systems. 1913, adjusting tables, therapy tables and electrotherapy equipment.
