NUHS students receive scholarships
Eighteen students at National
University of Health Sciences were recently honored with scholarship
awards. Each award was based on specific criteria including
academic excellence, personal achievement and community service.
Receiving the scholarships
were students Desiree Thompson, Cori Bauer, Erin Strauch,
Paul Mikulski, Jennifer Perry Aaron Locke, Jennifer Reinking,
Katie Samsel, Lis Lombardo, Max Barrett, Brad Farney, Jennifer
Rudhman, Mitch Stanlick, Katie Kielpinski, Alicia Lewitt.
Jena Swenson, Jennifer Ma, and Joe Stiefel.
“These are the students
who will go on to lead our profession,” remarked NUHS
President James Winterstein, who personally awarded each scholarship
at an awards reception on the Lombard campus.
The awards are made possible
through significant donations made to the university in the
name of, or in memorial to, friends of chiropractic medicine.
