NUHS scholarship awarded
The National University of
Health Sciences has awarded a scholarship covering 50 percent
of the 10-trimester tuition fee to Krista M. Soli of Stokes,
N.C. The award is based on academic achievement including
a minimum GPA of 3.0 and the evaluation of three essays written
by the applicant, including: “Why do you want to become
a doctor of chiropractic?” “Why do you feel you
should be awarded this scholarship?” And finally, “What
are your plans after graduating from National University of
Health Sciences?”
“This is one of our most
generous scholarships and a way for National to acknowledge
several of the many academically outstanding students who
attend the university,” says NUHS Director of Admissions,
Ron Mensching.
Soli earned her undergraduate
degree from East Carolina University. In one of her essays,
Krista spoke of her goal of ultimately teaching in the chiropractic
field.
