CAM research fellowship available for DCs
Chiropractors who are interested in researching complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) are invited to apply for a research fellowship from the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM), a component of the National Institutes of Health.
This fellowship has a goal of preparing the selected individual for a career as an independent CAM investigator. The fellowship includes full salary, benefits, professional travel and research support for two to three years. The fellow will undertake clinical, translational and/or laboratory research in NCCAMs Division of Intramural Research (DIR), in Bethesda, Md.
Doctors of chiropractic are eligible to compete for the fellowship. Likewise, the competition is open to applicants who have an MD, DO, PhD, DMD, ND, DVM or other equivalent degree and have a record of excellence and promise in clinical and/or laboratory-based research, preferably related to CAM.
