First international family-practice symposium scheduled

Between 200 to 500 chiropractors from approximately 25 countries are expected to attend the first International Symposium on Family Practice in Austria July 16 to 18, 2004.

According to event organizer Mark, J. Styers, DC, FICPA, president of the World Chiropractic Alliance Deutschland, the event will take place at the Interalpen Hotel Tyrol in the Tyrolean region of Austria. Confirmed speakers for the event include Dr. Terry Rondberg, president of the WCA; Dr. Patrick Gentempo, co-founder and CEO of the Chiropractic Leadership Alliance (CLA); Dr. Jeanne Ohm, president of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association; and Barbara Loe Fischer, president of the National Vaccine Information Center.
