Lab achieves NVLAP accreditation
Cardinal Health Inc., a provider of healthcare products and services, has achieved NVLAP (National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program) accreditation for its Global Calibration Laboratory by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
The accreditation means that the laboratory operates in accordance with NVLAP management and technical requirements pertaining to quality systems, personnel, accommodation and environment, test and calibration methods, equipment, measurement, traceability, sampling, handling of test and calibration items and test and calibration reports.
NVLAP accredits laboratories based on evaluation of their technical qualifications and competence to carry out specific calibrations or tests.
