NBCE increases exam fees for 2004

NBCE exam fees will increase $25-$50, effective with the spring 2004 exam administration.

Lower student enrollments impact NBCE exam revenues, although there is no corresponding decrease in examination development and administration costs. According to NBCE, it incurs expenses at every level of exam production, from selecting and analyzing exam questions, validating answers.

Passing scores from Parts I, II, III and IV give candidates a certificate of attainment, which may exempt them from taking portions of some state licensure examinations.
