New seminar on mattresses and chiropractic

Chiropractic Mattress Education launched a seminar to teach chiropractors about mattress design and how specific components address certain healthcare issues. The seminar will instruct chiropractors about the bedding industry, mattress design, sleep health issues, mattress fitting procedures and related rehabilitation protocols.

“With the complexity of materials and variety of mattress designs, consumers can feel very anxious about buying a mattress and often delay their purchase, leaving them to sleep on an old, worn-out mattress for another year,” said Stuart Carlitz, co-founder of Chiropractic Mattress Education.

“Buying the wrong bed results in poor support of their back and neck and aggravates healthcare problems,” added Dr. Mark Mandell, Carlitz’s partner. “The chiropractor is the best resource to help patients buy their next bed, and this seminar represents the wave of the future in mattress buying.”

Seminars are scheduled May 10 in Woodbridge, NJ, July 20 in Philadelphia and October 25 in New York. Chiropractic Mattress Education will also be launching national and regional marketing campaigns in 2004 to educate the public about the benefits of mattress fittings by chiropractors and referring them to chiropractic offices.
