WCA names Palermo CEO

The World Chiropractic Alliance (WCA) appointed Tony Palermo, DC, its new CEO. He was chosen by the WCA board of directors and will serve a one-year term of office. Palermo replaces David Jackson, DC, who now serves as president of Chiropractic Leadership Alliance. Jackson will continue to be active in the WCA as a member of its International Board of Governors.

"The key to growing the WCA is to make sure all chiropractors are fully aware of the tremendous value they receive by joining," Palermo said. "Not only do they support a group that actively fights to protect and promote subluxation-based chiropractic throughout the world, they are given practical tools for building prosperous, satisfying, and successful practices."

Palermo, a 1989 graduate of Life College of Chiropractic, has operated two large-volume family practices. His current practice is a 100-percent cash, wellness-oriented, subluxation-based practice, where he spends about 10 hours per week.
